About Us
In Veliky Novgorod there is an instrument transformer factory well known to electrical grid specialists in Russia, the CIS and neighbouring countries. After all, every third instrument transformer in Russia is manufactured here. This is Nevsky Transformer Factory "Volkhov", part of Group of companies NTZ.
Founded in 2012, it has become an industry leader in the number of products and new developments.
We produce cast current and voltage instrument transformers to power relay protection and automation devices, and commercial and technical accounting systems in 6-35 kV networks, as well as low-power power transformers with cast insulation with a capacity of up to 40 kVA. The production capacity of the factory is more than 80,000 products per year. About 400 employees work at the factory. The leading specialists have over 20 years of experience.
Our motto is "New opportunities – new solutions".
The products are included in the list of recommended equipment for electric grid companies of the Russian Federation.
In addition, our products have received professional recognition and leading positions in profile ratings, competitions and awards, such as "100 Best Goods of Russia", "All-Russian Brand (3rd millennium)", "Quality Seal of the 21st century", "Industry Leader".
The factory has a wide range of products of other types with different voltage classes.
Our transformers meet all the new requirements of standards, and in some characteristics even exceed them. The products have more than 100 designs, which allows them to be built into the cells of both "old" and "new", "European", models.
The territory of the factory is 50,000 square meters. The production area is more than 10,000 square meters.

The production uses the latest equipment from the world's leading manufacturers developed according to the technical specifications of the factory.
Modern IT technologies have been implemented. This makes it possible to track the status of the order at each stage of production.
The Scientific and Technical Bureau of NTFV is engaged in the development of new products. The line is updated annually. The main task of the bureau is to develop new types of transformers that solve problems of the industry and improve the quality of network servicing. Some of our own high-tech developments are unique for Russia. The works of our bureau have obtained numerous awards.
We conduct scientific research together with leading electrical engineering and design institutes, as well as test centers. The bureau employees take part in scientific conferences and seminars. They participate in the development of national standards for instrument transformers in the Technical Committee TK-016, as well as in the development of requirements for transformers up to 35 kV. Also, we act as experts for industry companies.
